What Can You Change?

This is one of the hardest lessons that I have had to learn.  What is my responsibility when it comes to change?

I was like many of us are, "the armchair quarterback".  Most of us are able to look at the defects of others and offer a  simple solution either in our mind or by giving advice that was not ours to give.  It took many years for me to realize that everything that I attracted was brought to me by my own thinking.  It was all of my anger, rage, that brought people around me with the same stuff.  I could see the defect within them, but was clueless that it was me that also suffered from the same defect.  I was either the victim or the perpetrator with all of it.

We cannot change others.  Nor can we judge them.  Each of us are on our own spiritual path with our own lessons that will be supplied by the Universe or the God Energy as I sometimes call it.  No, this energy is not a man.  If you think so, then your God is entirely too small.  It is not God in my belief that judges us, it is our own self that sees the truth when we cross over and understand that it is up to us to repair our own damage made by our own mistakes.

Truly, if we understand that every thought, action, and prayer was answered we would have an entirely different way of dealing with problems.   Instead, we venture through life fixing others, criticizing  others and are only creating karmic damage to ourselves.  We think that if something feels good it is positive energy.  Not necessarily so.  Often when we are solving (so we think), or preventing someone else from having to suffer, we are karmically  creating our own mess and probably sending a negative charge.

In parenting, I did not want my children to suffer consequences that were not going to be pleasant.  They would come home give me their story, and I would take charge to repair the mess.  Whoa!  This is exactly what many of us do.  First, we were not there when the incident happened.  So, we play god and think we can solve the problem.  Only God can fix the solution because only God has the omnipotent knowledge to resolve the issue.  What should have been done on my part.?   First, try something like the serenity prayer.  Second, listen to all of the facts, and third sit in the dark until the solution is given.   Whoever is involved with whatever happens are only those that can work out the mess.  Not the parent.  So, how do you prevent bad things happening to your children?  Your teach them to become responsible and to tell the truth.  That is your part of a good parent.  You cannot believe what you have not been through.   You explain to your children that their thoughts and actions create their choices through life.   Then you sit back and carefully watch the show of life unfold as they grow up.  As I understand to paraphrase what was in  the book of Proverbs the more your meddle in someone's affairs it is like grabbing a dog by the ears and creating a mess.  So, be my guest here and try something different.  Teach your children that they suffer the consequence of their actions.

Negotiating Your Way Out of Perceived Trouble

Setting rules of negotiating whether is about a work related problem or a romantic problem .  With me I was always "fighting to be right".   I often was in an argument without first realizing what the problem was or how this ever started.

To begin, before jumping into chaos, first take a breather from the situation.  We call it HALT in recovery.  This simply stand goes like so;" Halt" when troubled and think, stop when you are  "Angry", if depressed first recognize that you could be" Lonely", or last stop getting yourself into "Trouble".  Learning to recognize that you need to halt some of your behaviors and first think is often a good suggestion here.   I usually carried my emotions like a invisible bag of rocks never realizing  that I was dragging this bag of rocks around until I usually became either, hungry, angry, lonely, or tired.  When this happened the emotional bag or rocks would explode and my family would run for cover or escape by leaving the house altogether.    Halting taught me to stop and think about what was bothering me before  I reacted in usually, a childish manner.  I had good reason for my anger, but the behavioral problem created by the invisible sack of rocks disabled my ability to address the problem properly and therefore solve or resolve the issue.  This is not the same thing as winning.  There is a huge difference here.  What is it then?  Allowing yourself to express your feelings without being in a crazy emotional stage or either anger turned to rage or self pity and just plain stupidity. It is not negative energy to be angry.  Anger turns negative when it is either improperly used or the anger turns into a rage which becomes toxic.   Anger is the emotional nudge telling you that something needs to be addressed.  Often these are minor situations, but here lies the problem:  what are you protecting to keep the peace at any cost?   Is it the perceived reward of sex?  Or perhaps living with a partner who in fact uses rage to get what they want? Or being afraid of losing the relationship by revealing who you are and fearing the loss of a love (that was probably not there from the very start).

When dating or even securing a new job position.  How many times to you deny problems about the relationship that you see could be forthcoming, but have not yet been revealed?   For many of us, upon  reflection of either a failed relationship or a  work related job failure we will always admit that we saw the problems early in the beginning stages.  We all admit that we knew, but all of us did not address the fear factor.  How different would the relationship be if some of these questions were ask.  Perhaps the relationship would have taken a different course.  But without asking why are you repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting different results?   Again, choose to make better decisions and face the fear of asking first rather than finding out later.

Choices - Chaos or Serenity / A New Beginning

I have been writing these articles for about 3 years.   I am going to put some examples together to help you understand that what and how you think creates your own life.  There is no man in the sky throwing "spears" at you for your lifestyle.  Who is it then?   It is you, yourself, your own energy that creates this mess we call life, and until you learn the basic simple spiritual solutions you will continue down this path until you make the change.   God is not a man, but a Universal Energy I call love.  There are guides to use in keeping within the laws of the Universe that will enable all of us to live a much more harmonious life.

On  waking, daily minute by minute, you are sending out thoughts that are creating the agenda for your day that is forthcoming.   Some of your old thinking will also join you on this daily journal.   You are creating the karmic energy of sending out into the Universe a series of both positive and negative thinking that  impacts your health as well as  your happiness while you go through this life.  Think of yourself as a human being  using  your own transformer (the brain) that receives and sends signals throughout the Universe on a daily vigil. This reception of sending and receiving thoughts goes and returns to you as long as you send the same stuff.    Your choice is to learn how to manipulate your life so that it is a joyful experience.  By using the laws of the Universe, this journey  will continue to remain the same until we understand that changing how we treat others, live in truth, work with positive energy rather than negative will result in a better way of life.  We are all on our own pathway and the only one that we can change in our self.    Some of us choose not to learn for a while and as a result the pathway can become stagnant and stale.  These are not punishments by God, but energy that is needed to learn in order to grow and go forward.  So take your pick.  Learn from the lessons of life, make better choices, and allow your self to grow spiritually by changing the way you think about yourself as well as others.

Teachers are here no upon earth to help you guide yourself through this little spiritual lesson, but my friends until you have the desire to change you will continue within the same lifestyle of mess until you become responsible for your own thoughts and actions.   This is easy for me to teach, but believe me this is a very difficult path to attempt to take.  We have all become victims, and often there is the pay off for choosing to remain the "victim".   It certainly validates your own personal story doesn't it?

When you lie you attract other liars or receive lies.  When you are dishonest with yourself and others you attract with those people that use dishonesty as a method of their success.  Abusive people run with others that abuse and find the victim as easily as being blindfolded.  Why all this mess?  It is because all of you that use the talent of negative energy will attract it in one form or another.  Instead of saying to yourself, "I will try to do better".  Take the word try out of the sentence and change your behavior.  Try is just another excuse to allow you to fail.  This little three letter word is poison for the do gooder.   Stop attempting and change your behavior.  Try by asking God to help you see these defects of characters.   You will see them alright, but your job will be to recognize these defects and stop.  This may take counseling of some kind or a support group.  But when you alter you mind here, you will alter your life.  What are you waiting for?

Yes, the planet is changing.  The climate will become warmer, the current foundations  of laws created by man will change.  For a while there will be chaos, but man will survive and learn to live together in peace and harmony.  So, my challenge to you is to begin to practice this principle of truth in accepting others as they are and learning to stop the war from within and change the planet peacefully.

Your Life Lessons

The journey of life is not meant to be without growing pains.  Most of  us learned about life when some form of discomfort was involved.  School is one of the best examples of universal school.  We grew  up learning about peer pressure, group acceptance, rules of discipline, methods of study, and I can go on and on with examples, but you get the point.  Some of us  picked  wiser choices and learned to follow instructions, but most of us looked for the easier way out.  There is no easy way out for spiritual growth, and yes, there are some choices that are better than other choices.  It is up to us to decide.  The more that we are aware, and by that I mean spiritual awareness, the better our choices are likely to be, but I am in no way implying easier.  Spiritual growth is a difficult path because for the most of us, it is going against the grain.  Sometimes I say "thinking outside of the box".

None of us like authority, like erroneous rules, and rebel if....we can get away with it.  Truth is,  We get away with nothing.  Your actions either good or bad will come back to you  and repeat themselves until you learn from the lesson of life  which is what life is all about, learning.  If something is true on one level, it is true on all levels.  That spiritual law is thus:  As above so below, as below so above.   Here is the law of karma which applies for every action there is an equally opposing reaction.  Or put simply what you sew you reap.  I hear daily, "what goes around comes around".  But easily said by many and not believed by many.  If we truly understood this truth than we would understand clearly that what we believe and say is repeated within our own living experiences.  We are creating all that we think and do.  Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if all of us understood that principle?  Unfortunately that is not always how the Universe functions because many of us on earth and young souls might be ready for this kind of message.  For those of you that resonate with this message you will understand what I am trying to say.  Test me here.  When you lose something focus upon finding this thing or object then forget about it.  Watch how it eventually returns to you in a surprising way.   Or,  while driving focus on finding the perfect parking place for your car.  Do not doubt your thoughts and watch the space appear in front of your own eyes upon arrival.  This happens all of the time.  The more you learn to control your thoughts and actions, the better your life will become.  The more you allow others to have their own path without you sticking your foot in the middle of this path, the better off they will be as well as you.  Each of us learn at out own pace.  Each of us has our own path and set of beliefs, and it is paramount that all of us allow each of us to grow at our own pace.

Do not be critical of your past as no matter how difficult the journey has been, it was all in the form of a spiritual lesson for you to learn.  Even those souls that are sitting presently in jail are in what I sometimes call  God's "time out box".   Your choice after  incarceration is to either learn for the better or recreate the same experience and do this time again and again, until the lesson is learned.  Remember, there is no time in the Universe.  So take all the time you might need to learn a lesson.

Understanding Cycles and Making A Choice

As I am a decorator by trade, I am often invited into people's home in order to help them with room arrangement.   Without the intention my psychic side always kicks in and within short time, I know how this client lives in his home.   I use the," don't tell if not ask, first," rule with all information that comes to me.  Why?  because sometimes the client does not want to know or , the client is  not ready to know.  Information about people  should always be regarded as a privacy issue.  I am not using any one source here to divulge any information that would not be helpful.  But you, the reader might be ready for some understanding of  this information and it might help you through your own journey through life.

To begin with a dirty home is in of itself bad energy.  Either from the standpoint of creating disease from bacteria infection, or disease from emotional  infection with spreads within the entire family.  Hoarding is such a disease in its extreme of "dirty" home.   Usually the hoarder itself has come through some trauma and is not able to let go of the stuff as it represents a memory or situation of some kind.  And the family surrounding the hoarder is into what we call enabling or, to you that doesn't understand, it is keeping the peace at all cost.    It is always amusing to me that some of these dirty clients often call me in for the "feng shui" reason.   Feng Shui directs the energy.  When the house is dirty it is too confusing and both energies fight one another.

I read using spiritual law.  The previous paragraph is example of knowing the answer with spiritual law here.  This law is "As Above, So Below ".  To  define this law, it simply means that if something is true it will be true on every level, and the same goes if it is false.    Applying the answer to a dirty house refers to cleaning up the mess not only on the outside, but also on the inside.   This  sickness is emotional imbalance as well.  Everything needs to clean up.  The physical body, the mind, the soul, and yes even the house.   Usually these souls are living within a state of confusion and have created chaos all around and certainly within themselves.  Often they can't make clear cut decisions without first asking everyone around either their opinion or solution.  Frequently, the children have no direction either and so here begins the cycle....these children with either swing into the opposite direction of a "clean freak" or become another repeat of the same thing.  Very rarely without therapy will this disorder balance out.  Often the children resort to the extreme opposite,  that is they become clean freaks.

Another cycle of confusion is abuse.  We are rampant with abuse now.   Children can grow up with abuse and will likely repeat this cycle either by becoming the abuser or  attracting the abuser.  Again, another spiritual law with prediction.   The lesson will always find you with the law of attraction.  Opposites attract, like repeals, but always on the same polar wave length.  What I am saying is simply for every crooked pot there is a lid to fit.  So the crook will attract to his prey, the sex addiction will find someone to enjoy, and a thief will locate a cop to be caught.  This is done by attraction, because attraction is a law that applies to us all, and until we get it, we will stumble around thinking that God is doing "this" to us.  No, we are doing this to ourselves.   Yes, there is a God, but no, he does not whip us into shape.   The way we think and act creates a daily karmic energy.  Learning to control your thoughts will creates better energy as well as totally change your life.  We hold within our body the karmic DNA of past life experiences as well as beliefs, and often we bring into a new life the patterns of old thinking that will re create disease that possibly killed us from a past life.   Karma is  a spiritual law but  remember it is up to us to change our lives and also our way of  thinking.    Attraction is brought on by both our actions, and our  present thinking. We attract by our own spiritual sonar. (This is the auric energy at work.)  This thought process   creates for all of us us what we need in  order to spiritually  learn.
Children  that  are  left  at home   without parental control can  become some  sick .   When left without proper guidance,  and entertaining themselves   with,"  killing videos ,  war games, and  exposing them to prescription drugs,  give  these children an opportunity to do great harm not only to themselves but to others.  Who is responsible for all of this mayhem?  Perhaps some of the  responsibility belongs to those who were in charge, or perhaps society as a whole.    Listen to our music, our movies, our videos and remember another universal law here," a thought is a thing".   What is happening?  We are not paying attention at all.

Change your Vibration and Change your Life

At some point in our lives we come to the question that we have to change in order to move forward.  This too happened to me and actually as you read this it is continuing to happen now.  I am working on the skill of automatic writing and for a while my writing will perhaps be a little jumpy.  Sorry for that, but the purpose here is to also show you that I too have to work with " change" or else I too can get "stuck in the mud" so to speak.

As humans we often continue doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.  How do you stop it?  You learn to change your vibration.  This is a simple solution, but a difficult task to accomplish as all of us do not like to be told what to do.  We go around daily hearing advice from others, needed or not, and adopting our own way.  I will not falter here,,, you must change your vibration with whom you are attracting in order to change the outcome.

Here is your  exercise about discovering those  attracted to you.  Write down four or five things you didn't like about your parents.  They may be adopted parents, guardians, foster, or same sex.  This doesn't matter write it down.  Then with other  relationships  souls that  give you  trouble. write down what it is about these people or lovers that  bothers you.

Guess what?  This is a spiritual gift from me to you.  You are attracting all of those vibrations that you do not like because you are learning what to do with them. These irritating souls are teaching you about your self.  For example, suppose you are attracting abusive men either emotionally or physically.  You will continue to attract more until you change this attraction.   Every activity that you do not like in someone else is your problem to change within your own self.   It is up to you to learn to  create better  choices.  How can you change until you know what you attract?

For me, I was always selecting relationships that set on a path of fixing me.  By the time I was through the relationship I was dancing to someone  wish and not knowing what I had become.  They certainly didn't like me anymore, and I didn't like myself.    How did I do it?  I stopped the game, and left the relationship.  I was told many years ago by my teachers (guides) that people knew when it was time to change jobs, but they stuck like glue when it came to a relationship.  This was true of me as well.

My intention here it to help give advice according to spiritual laws.  These laws appear in all of the spiritual writings, but they all say basically the same thing.  My suggestions will  perhaps cause food for thought.  Take it or leave it, but certainly enjoy your own path.  I am busy walking mine for the day.....Judy

Parenting with Metaphysical Truths or Creating Havoc of Things to Come

We are creating a mess with our work ethic, and this trickles down to a mess with our children.  Our most important endeavor is sustaining life.   What I am saying is that we have now focused upon money and have created a horrible mess with our children's development.  No one is home!  If we have chosen to have children some one needs to be at home and that "one" needs to be one of the parents.   Historically it has been the mother figure.  Look at nature from birds to lower animals in this habitat we call  " earth".   By tradition,  this job was the   mother who was the main role model. She  taught the art of survival and we all modeled from behavior these skills.   We have turned this skill over to baby sitting services, nannies, grandmothers and even the cell phone for entertainment.  What are we doing here folks?  Either have children or do not, but do not mess with the future.  This is perilous.   Using cameras and video equipment  to watch the ones at home sends chills down my spine.  This sounds like a biology class with laboratory rats.  Not good here.   However, I helped set this up as well.  Many times when ask what I did in the way of work, my response was, "I am just a housewife".   We had no value on the most important skill of all.  Why?  We were not compensated for this service so it had no value.  Metaphysically we call this the energy exchange.  Unfortunately men as well as women had no value and therefore thought nothing of housework and raising children.  Well how do you like it now?  We have a mess on our hands with many young souls, and we haven't a clue.  We were not there to model behavior skills because no one was in the home.   I am a decorator also by trade and degree.  When called by young couples I usually walk into a very expensive home with nothing in it and litter everywhere.  No one knows how to live in a house because no one is at home.   I am often ask to use Feng Shui for creating good energy.  My response is to first reply by saying you need to  clean up the mess.   We are becoming clueless with "home".   This will get worse before it gets better.

Here is my truth.   Over a period of time mothers began to leave the house work and join the job market.  It is true that the double income took an easy jolt out of the finances, but unknown to us all we were not paying attention to the most important asset of all.....our children.  It happened over time and it happened over two or three generations, but it is now revealing to me that we are in a bad spot with the child and his development.  I realize that both parents have to, at times, work; but I am also looking at this from the eyes of a child, and the effects upon the family.  Not to mention that reincarnation is screaming for leadership because no one wants to come back without guidance.  There is no guidance for the latch key child.   The most important spiritual mission is to insure that we create a balanced child, spiritually, emotionally, and physically so that....guess what?  We can return and improve our journey or path in order to grow spiritually.  Folks we are headed for the cave again.   Many of us will incarnate into the mess that they created, and I for one do not care to re live this confusion.  No thanks.  Forward is better than backwards here.

First is the fear of everything.  What happened to when you get home from school, with the concept of " go out and play" ?  This is not in the mind  set of our children.  They do not have any form of unorganized play in their mind set.  Rather, it is baseball practice, cheer leading, some sport that leads to a scholarship or a giant plaque or trophy.  Nothing like "capture the flag" or "kick the can".   This disappeared when the "strangers" entered our lives and lurched ready to capture a child.   So play became the video, the I pad, or some electronic device that teaches them how to kill everything in sight with no telling what kind of weapons of horror.  There are few children in the neighborhood learning how to interact with one another, get along.  We have all locked every child up so that he is now safe from harm.  The video is teaching them how to skill and mangle as we speak.  Just look at the video  games.

Without having parents at home to observe they are left with the alternative role models to teach by their actions not their words.  Who are these role models?  Let's look at  (1) the movies (2) video games (3) nannies or baby sitting services,  (4) the family itself  What have we done?
